"There is no greater act in life
then helping a person to die well"

-Buddhist Monk

Hello and welcome.

I was born into the name of Cynthia Lee Hayhurst. Through marriage, I now use the last name of Neotti.

This is the story that changed, or rather, redirected my Life Journey.

In the year of 2000, my father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. His doctor gave me the news out in the hospital hallway, “He has four months to live.” he said.

My ears started to ring, blood rushed to the top of my head and my eyes instantly filled with tears as I shook uncontrollably. My mind was swirl, I felt stuck to the floor and could not breathe.

Just the word “dying” sent me into emotional overload. Every negative emotion imaginable rushed at me with the intensity of a freight train.

Emotional overload is an understatement.

I became instantly aware that it was now my responsibility to give my father and my family this toxic news. At that very moment in time, my life and its future course changed forever.

After guiding my father in his Royal Cross Over, and healing from the grief that accompanies loss, I knew it was my calling to help other people, help their loved ones die with dignity.

in 2001, Precious Moments Specialized Private Care came to life, which lead me to work diligently on my written guide, Precious Final Hours: Caring for a Person in Their Final Hours of Life.

It is my sincerest wish that, with this step-by-step practical guide as well as the content you will find within this space, your loved one’s Royal Cross Over will be a little easier to bear.
